<p dir="auto">I heard that a couple of improvements for NB-IoT, including lower battery consumption, are part of the 3GPP release 14.<br />
Did I understand correctly? If so:</p>
<p dir="auto">Is this part of the discussion that Pycom has with telecom providers?<br />
If current FiPy boards are bought with Monarch chip with support for Release 13, can they be upgraded if you supply firmware or an update in later stage or are these changes also hardware related so new hardware is needed and the current FiPy is limited in usability in low battery environments?</p>
