i have contacted to the LoRaWAN provider (Tata Telecom) in india and i provided the pyom lopy board . and connection was not established as expected, they said that need to change the firmware of lopy
anyone help me to solve this issue
The lora.add_channel() commands can be used to change channels 0-2 to the frequencies for IN865 as @jmarcelino said. But it only sets transmit channels and not receive ones. So I don't think that you can set the RX2 frequency yet.
But you should be able to test as most responses will be in RX1, which is the same as the transmit frequency. And if your network/gateway uses the Mac command RXParamSetupReq, then it will setup RX2 for you.
So it's not ideal without correct support for IN865, but you may be able to test all of the features using EU868 and a RXParamSetupReq sent from the network or gateway.

Hi thank you so much for you help... how to set the Rx frequency (RX2 = 866.5500) MHz ???
@jmarcelino thank you, i will try that
@livius upgraded ... i will test and reply if it is worked
@enpboss what is

That’s probably because the current LoRaWAN stack doesn’t support the IN865 India region yet. For India it currently uses EU868 which was common practice until the IN865 region was introduced.
To set the correct frequencies please add this code after Initialising LoRa, but before the lora.join()
# set the 3 default channels for the IN865 frequency plan lora.add_channel(0, frequency=865062000, dr_min=0, dr_max=5) lora.add_channel(1, frequency=865402500, dr_min=0, dr_max=5) lora.add_channel(2, frequency=865985000, dr_min=0, dr_max=5)

import os os.uname()
it should be
if not then upgrade firmware - go to download page:
