Pycom Is recruiting!

    Dear All,

I hope you are having a good week! Before I go onto the above mentioned topic, I want to touch base on a few points.

    1. The firmware development is going extremely well and we will be releasing the new version this Friday... and yes we have co-existency on the ESP32 for WiFi/BLE. Daniel will issue the release documentation at the same time. Big thank you to the Espressif / Pycom dev teams whom have done a great job to get this done in time. Obviously a Big Thank you to you all for your patience!

    2. LoRaWAN certification should be completed before the week-end and so expect an update from Daniel on that point too!

    3. Those of you whom have pre-ordered the SiPy will be glad to know that we will also be shipping the new modules next week flashed with the latest firmware. We will need to see how Christmas shipping affects deliveries however all is in place from our side.

    4. OEM versions: You may have seen we announced today the introduction of production-ready modules for Mass volume applications. These will come in the form of hermetically sealed reels/trays suitable for high output manufacturing. Price and size have been scaled down. We will have the WiPy, LoPy and SiPy versions available in April 2017.

    5. Documentation: Sore point and please keep sending-in all views/inputs as these are important to us... We know what needs to be done and are working on this.

Finally, Pycom is recruiting and so if anybody in the community is interested or knows someone, then please do reach out (fred@pycom.io). We are looking to hire asap the following developers: 2 x embedded and 2 x back-end. Location: Sunny (ish) city of Eindhoven.

    Best wishes
    Fred
