Maximum power for LiPo Battery
Hello together, I have a problem with my pysense board.
If I connect a 3,7v 1000 mAh lipo battery the board charge and run perfectly.
But it I connect a 3,7v 4000 mAh battery, the board heated up and dies 😅
Can anyone explain me what’s the problem??
I have tested 2 pycom pysense with two wipy boards
On the expansion board 3.0 i have the same problem.
The battery’s has output voltage exactly 3,71 Volt.

This in combination with powering over usb results in a circuit shorten...
@svonbentzel polarity on LiPo battery connectors is not standardised.
Most batteries meant for RC cars, drones, etc. have the opposite polarity from batteries meant for MCUs and the like.
Found and solved the issue.

I have tested with a Multimeter the polarity.
But at the 4000mah the jst pinout was false!

@svonbentzel polarity of the battery? The capacity does not matter.
