WiPy 3.0 and max30105

  • Hi everyone

I recently had a bit of fun connecting an Arduino and a max30105 breakout board by Sparkfun to ThingSpeak using an esp8266 wifi board and that was really fun and was very straight forward. I thought it would be a good challenge to use something that is a little more versatile, the WiPy 3, seeing as it has so many amazing features.

I'm not too familiar with micro-python though and thought this may present a bit of a challenge. I was able to create a boot script that's able to connect to wifi was that is one of the main aspects of having an IOT system. With that, I tried my luck at connecting the MAX30105 to the WiPy, but I'm completely stumped. I have no idea how to use the libraries provided from this post on GitHub:

I also purchased the Pycom WiPy 3.0 Development Workshop book by Agus Kurniawan in an attempt to find a way to establish some sort of communication with the MAX30105 breakout board by Sparkfun, but this was to no avail.

Maybe if someone could just point me in the right direction?
