Windows WiFi immediately disconnecting

  • I have started setting up my LoPy module on the expansion board and followed the getting started. I have updated to the latest firmware.

On my windows 10 machine (Dell XPS) I can see the LoPy WiFi SSID (lopy-wlan-b7e0), after selecting it and entering the password www.pycom.io it tries to connects and then states that the connection has been unsuccessful.

Viewing the console in Pymakr when the connection takes place I see the following:

It seems to join then immediately leave ...?

If I connect my iPad or Android phone they remain connected, but using a browser and going to 192.168.4.1 comes up with a server not found error.

    Any Thoughts?

This is normal, the Pycom boards don't run web server by default, so 192.168.4.1 is only accessible by FTP or Telnet

  • @pform

    previous 1.5.0 was ok

  • www.pycom.io is the password for connecting to the modules Wifi ...
