Atom Pymakr can't recognize usb to ttl module (CH340 chip)

  • when I use USB to TTL module with ft232 chip, my Atom can recognize it as COM22 and tried to connect with it. But, when I use USB to TTL with CH340 chip, it can't be recognized by Atom even though my laptop recognize my module as COM5. How to fix this issue?

  • In the Pymakr settings (on the right side, global settings), scroll down to the entry 'autoconnect comport manufacturers' and add the manufacturer there, you might notice that FTDI is already listed, which is why the COM22 does show up in the list
