FTP issues, only FTP commands worked for me

Received my 2 Lopy's this week. Could not sync via Atom. Cyberduck FTP did not work, Textwrangler FTP gave this error: kErrCouldNotStartDataTransfer (application error code: 22160)
I had to use FTP commands on my Mac to transfer the files to the Lopy.
Tried the Raw Lora example and that worked, so that looks promising...

@robert-hh Thanks, I read similar things in other posts. Also posted this to show an alternative that could be used.

@zappfinger Ftp only works with a single session in passive mode. Most fancy clients cannot be restricted to that. Filezilla can be configured that way, as well as the Fireftp extension of Firefox.
