Two LoPys as a LoRa + TCP/IP bridge?
-
Can two LoPys be configured with Wi-Fi on both ends to make a long (albeit slow) TCP/IP bridge? Yes I'm aware it would have a lot of dropped packets.

People have managed 10Km on such a setup.
Only with udp kind "connection" modified wifi stack.
I have self with normal wifi setup and directional antennas max ~600 m.
But i have many wifi stations around and in industrial environment.

TCP/IP isn’t really suited for very slow, many dropped packet environments.,
You could use UDP/IP but that still adds a lot overhead/inefficiency.If you want point-to-point TCP/IP over long distances, don’t care about power consumption, I’d recommend high gain directional WiFi antennas at each end. People have managed 10Km on such a setup.
