Deepsleep remaining time

For an application I need to register the time between pin interupts using the deep sleep shield. This time does not need to be too accurate and does not need to be absolute.
However, I cannot find a way to retreive any time signal after wake-up from deep sleep.
Anyone have a solution for this?

Unfortunately the deepsleep shield does not have any such functionality
