Question about Alex's Corner Week 3 video gateway setup

Following this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL7hSx9qNjc he refers to a file called request.py but I don't see this file in https://github.com/pycom/pycom-libraries/tree/master/examples/lorawan-nano-gateway Anyone know where this file comes from? Also this video is from last year, is it accurate still? Is there a recent text version of this tutorial as a companion to the video? The videos are great but sometimes it can be hard to find particular bits. Thanks
