LoRa Thread expectations

I know you guys are working on this, so I am curious what to expect:

• For low power use cases, is there something like a 'light sleep' mode (duty cycle wakeup, listen/check for messages, sleep again)?
• What kind of security provisions should we expect? I was having a very difficult time reading through the Thread spec on this topic
