What is limiting the flash to 508K on 8MB devices?

@robert-hh 508K with 1.18.1.R1. I checked 'erase flash' during downgrade. I'm using 1.15.2.b1 upgrade tool

import uos uos.getfree("/flash")Returns 435. I have about 55KB stored on /flash at this time.
I tried to FTP a 3.1MB file and it got truncated to ~445KB, and uos.getfree('/flash') returns 0.

@cmisztur Which firmware version & device are you using. On my 8MB devices the flash file system has a size of 4 MB. Tested on
Lopy4, FiPy, WiPy3 with firmware 1.18.1.b1.
