save pyscan data in external file

Hello,
My pyscan spits out data in my pymaker terminal in visual studio code. However, instead of just observing the output data in the terminal, I would like to save the data in a file in my computer. If I write code that creates a file and saves it in pymakr, the file will be created in the flash memory of the pyscan and the data will be saved therein. What I want is the data to be saved in my computer instead of inside the pyscan. Is there a way of creating the txt file in my computer from the pycom device to save the data that is generated from the device. I am using visual studio code + pymakr.
