Pygate RX Sensitivity

Hello all! I was wondering, how does the sensitivity of the Pygate compare to, say, the Laird RG1XX Gateways? The Laird modules have a stated sensitivity of -127 dBm (assuming Bandwidth = 125 kHz, Spreading Factor = 7, DR0), but I couldn't any similar parameter listed in the Pygate datasheet. Any ideas, @Gijs ? Or possibly somebody else :) Best, Dan

@Gijs said in Pygate RX Sensitivity: Adding the SNR_min and Ptx, gives an even higher link budget IMHO this has not anything to do with the actual physics. It's just calculated numbers.

@Gijs Wow. -139 dBm seems very sensitive. I will look into it, do some tests with both GW and see how they compare. Will post back when that is done.

@d-alvrzx said in Pygate RX Sensitivity: Or possibly somebody else Hi,
On the Pygate, we feature a Semtech SX1308 concentrator with SX1257 frontends. The combination has a theoretical sensitivity of -139dBm. I do not believe we measured the actual performance in this regard.Adding the SNR_min and Ptx, gives an even higher link budget :) Gijs
