      Hi all,

I'm getting started with a FiPy board (+ Expansion Board). I'm trying to associate a Xiaomi MiBand 4 to the board via Bluetooth, in order to read the heart rate from the smart band.
I managed to read the heart rate from a Linux machine via this tool. I also managed to get the authentication key of the band.
Now my goal is to use the key to get the MiBand authenticated and interact with the Pycom board.

One try would be to port the same tool on the Pycom board. Unfortunately, it uses this custom bluetooth library that depends on Linux libraries.

Another try would be to reproduce the same authentication steps of the tool via the Pycom bluetooth API. In this case, I am not sure if the API supports bluetooth authentication.

Does anybody have any suggestions on this topic? Does Pycom bluetooth API support authentication?

      Cheers,
      Michele
