Native machine code .mpy not possible?

Hi,

I would like to load Native machine code in .mpy files on my Fipy.

It is possible and works on my regular esp32 with MicroPython but it seems it is not supported on the Pycom device?
Is there a workaround that doesn't involve compiling new firmware (as is with MicroPython external C modules)?
