i am getting tired of not being able to download programs to the Sipy... i get this message over serial port
"Could not enter friendly repl. (click to attempt to reconnect)"
it has just been a nightmare...
what does this message means? it really doesnt tell me what the problem is

It only needs setup once.
I have been able to transfer the main.py and boot.py via pymkr but it only works half the time after tons of reboots. i wish it was that simple where i can just push the button to download my program...

did you setup a serial coonection using a ftp client?
I'll reckommend you download Putty and follow advices here, in the forum, it worked like a charm for me. I think, please correct me if I'm wrong, that a lack of connection between your OS and your board can lead to a few different error messages.so what you are saying is that i should transfer the py files manually via ftp without using pymkr?
