Cannot add new device to Pybytes - TTN v2 to v3 migration

  • Hello,

I am trying to add a new device on Pybytes using WiFi and LoRa TTN connectivity. I get the following error:

    Add a device to Pybytes
    Customise your Device
    Incompetent-base-1714

    MiraLabs

    TTN Server
    Device Registration Failed!
The problem appears to be on the server side, please try again later.

Looking in the console logs of chrome we can see this error from graphql:

index.js:4375 [GraphQL error]: Message: {"i18nKey":"internal_server_error","message":"{\"error\":\"permission denied: Registrations of new devices in V2 clusters have been disabled. Register new devices in a The Things Stack (V3) cluster and migrate your existing devices now! V2 clusters will permanently shut down in December 2021.\",\"code\":2,\"message\":\"permission denied: Registrations of new devices in V2 clusters have been disabled. Register new devices in a The Things Stack (V3) cluster and migrate your existing devices now! V2 clusters will permanently shut down in December 2021.\"}"},
                        Location: [object Object], Path: registerDevice

Any ideas how to fix it? pycom.png

  • Same for me. In the last week or so, I haven't been able to add a new device to Pybytes. Same red box with the same message. Sorry, I don't have an answer but I can say that you are not alone.
