GPIO16 and WiFi question

If I do connect an external antenna to a WiPy 2.0 do I need to do anything with GPIO16 (External Antenna Switch) to enable it?

Can I tell if an external antenna is connected by monitoring GPIO16?

You need to specify it in the init:
