@daniel Thanks for the link to the docs, I couldn't find these previously and had to go by the pictures. Could a board be damaged if it was connected the wrong way and if so is there a way to test the board?

Hello n0ahg,
Check this for the correct orientation: https://docs.pycom.io/lopy/lopy/quickref.html
The RGB LED goes on top of the micro USB connector.Cheers,

Yes I'm looking for the firmware sources. I have downloaded esp-idf and xtensa-esp32-elf for a few weeks now and even built some examples... but I'm hesitant to try them out without knowing how the LoPy software is working and being sure I can flash it back onto the LoPy.
I didn't want to spend additional money on an ESP32 dev board since I knew the LoPy would have one on board.

Hello Xykon,
We are preparing the linux versions now. We'll publish them later today. I'll reply to this topic to notify.
Do you mean the firmware source code?
Cheers,
Daniel

You seem to have forgotten to post the links for the Linux firmware updater. Can you please either fix the website or post them here?
Also where can I find the sources for the LoPy? I checked https://github.com/wipy/wipy but I can't find any reference to the LoPy.
