I have installed a LoraWAN nano gateway, connected to the things network. the config file has LORA_FREQUENCY = 868100000. Then i used the Sodaq one board which hosts a RN2483 to setup a node using ABP. I also made sure that only one channel would be used on the RN2483 ("mac set ch freq 5 868100000") . This is not working.. But when i shift the frequency a bit ("mac set ch freq 5 868050000") then messages arrive at thethingsnetwork. as the RN2483 is a certified module, i am guessing that the Lopy frequency is not accurate? Has someone some experience with this?

What's the version of your RN2483 and what temperature are you working at?

There was a temperature related frequency drift problem in RN2483 prior to 1.0.3. Full investigation thread here

@jmarcelino The test is performed @ room temperature (around 21°C). the RN2483 was on firmware 1.0.1. I upgraded the module to fw 1.0.3 but the problem remains the same.

Is this still the code you're using?

@pleemans, did you manage to make it work ?
I have same issue: lopy running as nanogateway, other lopy able to join & send data to TTN
But if I try to join using RN2483, is is denied, although lopy gateway see join request & answer it (according to TTN console).

RN2483 is able to join & send on Objenious network otherwise.
                    BR, Emmanuel.

                      Dear Emmanuel,

As i mentioned in my reply about a month ago, i could get it working when shifting the frequency a bit. Not sure what is causing it, but then communication could be established as well for uplink, downlink message as join requests.
