[SOLVED] macOS Sierra Serial Port problem
-
Hi Forum, did anyone had the problem with MacOS Sierra serial port not found problem. I mean, I cannot see the USB serial port either on Atom or on Arduino IDE. I tried one solution available on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyocdvAKo64&ab_channel=RCboat But this works one time good but afterwards again having the same problem.

@rahul
Does it work if you reboot macOS?If not you probably are using a charge-only microUSB cable. Try another cable.

@jmarcelino thx for the quick reply. I have installed the VCP driver from the link you have provided. But still having the same problem.
Yes I am using expansion board. And trying to connect with Atom IDE with Pymakr Plugin.

By running this command on Terminal "ls /dev/tty.*" system returns me "/dev/tty.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port" So, no USB serial port!!!

@rahul
That video is about the CH340 USB serial adapter, but what are you using? The Pycom expansion board?
If so you want to install the FTDI VCP drivers http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
