Advertising as an iBeacon with WiPy2.0 using bluetooth.set_advertisement(..) function?

Has anyone tried to turn their WiPy or other BLE enabled pycom device into an iBeacon? I've been trying to do so using the set_advertisement() function, but haven't been able to hit the right combination of function arguments to make the device register on my iOS device.
The documentation does briefly mention that the manufacturer_data parameter can be used to turn the device into an iBeacon, but it doesn't go into more detail than that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you got any advise / response on creating an iBeacon with the WiPy2.0? Or did you figured it out yourself...?
