detection of notifications enabling on BLE connections with Lopy

Hi!, i'm starting with BLE connections using Lopy, and my question is related to the positbility of detecting on a device acting as BLE-Peripheral, that the notifications are enabled for a particular charateristic from the device acting as BLE-Central. For example, i'm using nRF aconnect app for Android as the Central device, and i would like to detect on the code being executed on the Peripheral device, that the notifications are enabled for a particular characteristic. is that possible? thanks
