Lopy4 no OTAA join
-
Hi,
I use the Lopy4 with firmware v1.15.0.b1.
With only the the OTAA code sample from https://docs.pycom.io/chapter/tutorials/lopy/lorawan-otaa.html I get no join on the TTN network. I can see the join request on the TTN console.
If I switch the lopy4 from pytrack to expension board, same result. I'm in the range of a TTN gateway, if I take my lopy(1) I do get connected tot the TTN network.See attachment.0_1517584645552_config.pdf

If you're looking for a command line way you can follow the downgrade instructions: https://forum.pycom.io/topic/517/downgrading-firmware-advanced-usersbut using the latest version of the firmware: https://software.pycom.io/downloads/LoPy4_868-1.15.0.b1.tar.gz

@jmarcelino the antenna is on the correct connector.
I will replace the lopy firmware again. Is there an other way than using the Pycom firmware program?Regards,

Hi @chuck
Sorry for the question but are you sure you connected to the correct antenna connector? Now it's on the opposite side of the LED, it's not the same as the LoPy1.
Please check the diagram carefully for the 868/915 MHz port: https://docs.pycom.io/chapter/datasheets/downloads/lopy4-pinout.pdf
I'm at the TTN conference in Amsterdam and we did OTAA with the LoPy4 at the workshop maybe more than 120 times today so I can assure you it works :)
