GPy: NB IoT control and user plane optimization

Hi,
I want to play with gpy module with NB IoT connectivity. In thoery, there are IP and Non IP data. That is als send over control plane and data plane.
What I understood from reading the documenation, gpy module can send only IP data over user plane optimization.

Am I right?

When it will support otherway of sending data? For example, Non-IP over control plane optimization. I can help on sharing my knowledge of NAS protocol with the commuity.
