@cmisztur Too bad. Then you still could try to solder a USB cable to the open pads. Once that works, you can fix it with epoxy. Not beautiful, but possible.

@cmisztur Gross. That looks like a challenge for your soldering skills.
I had that experience with a broken USB Micro plug on the smartphone of my daughter. The problem there was to get the old plug out without damaging the board. You are beyond that step. Soldering the new plug to the board was easier.
