Is a TTN App Key the same thing as an Access Key?

Doing this tutorial: https://docs.pycom.io/tutorials/lora/lorawan-otaa.html Refers to needing an "app key". But the TTN console refers to "Access Keys" and these seem to have a different format e.g. ttn-account-v2.3aYPj0qHWpctE5QFkAj9TkKV-IivECym2SEABCDEF and I get an error when I try to use the Access Key from TTN in the app_key of the tutorial source. thanks
