Feeding Expansion Board v3

Hi, I know expansion boards (EB) has at least two power inputs... one from battery connector and other, from USB connector.

I would like to make sure if I can still power the expansion board through Vin pin... I'm using Lopy4 connected to EBv3 and trying to feed them on pin VIN or pin 28.
