WIPY 3.0 implement mDNS advertising

Has anyone managed to implement Multicast-DNS (mDNS) advertising on the WIPY? I'd like to make my device accessible via name and not by IP-address (which might change). slimDNS currently doesn't seem to be compatible with the WIPY ( https://github.com/pycom/pycom-micropython-sigfox/issues/175 ).
