LoPy4 LoRa with lower bandwidth

  • Hi,

The LoPy4 datasheet states that the LoRa bandwidth can be reduced to as low as 7.8kHz (though I am more interested in 62.5kHz). I am keen to experiment with extending the range of the device over raw LoRa link connection and understand that this requires adding TXCO to the board. How do I then set the device to operate at a lower bandwidth through the pycom network API?

    Thanks

  • @dwing At the moment the only Bandwidth parameters that are accepted by the Pycom firmware are the 125KHz, 250KHs and 500KHz, depending on the region. To use other bandwidths supported by the SX1276 you need to modify the standard firmware.
