Lopy4 resets and loses code.
-
I am working with the lopy4 module next to the expansion board makr using python and micropython in iot projects and I realized that after a while of use it resets itself, does not reboot and loses the code. Has anyone had this problem and could help me?

Switching to the newer LittleFS file system available in recent versions of the firmware seems to help people.
We want to second that as we also have been bitten by this behavior badly the other day [1].
Since switching to LittleFS, I have not seen any cases of file system corruption.

Yes, once in a while, the file system gets corrupted during normal development (i.e. the cycle of writing code, pushing the upload-button in Pymakr, followed by the automatic reset to have it start). I usually resolve it by:
#1 pycom-fwtool-cli -p /dev/ttyACM0 erase_all #2 pycom-fwtool #3 Upload my stuff again using Pymakr Upload button

@erick_braun There have been quite a few reports of similar issues on the forum. In most cases, it seems to be related to filesystem corruption, especially if you mix writing to the filesystem and deep sleep.
