FTP Server does no support spaces in file or folder name

Error 550 when trying to upload in FTP, a file named '/sd/Google Drive/Pythonista/backup.tar.gz'
The directory has been created on the SD card inserted on a Mac and is "seen" in Telnet on the Wipy2...
But, on my iPad, when I use FileBrowser to check the FTP server of the Wipy2, FB does not see the folders under the Google Drive folder, with the error message 'perhaps incorrect folder name'

PS it seems that the problem comes with files or folders with spaces in name...Even a list command does not work for a folder name containing a space/blank
