VSCode PyMakr Plugin not working

New to VS Code and can't seem to get PyMakr working or showing up on the bottom left hand corner. I can use atom extension for now but would like to use VS code going forward.

Version: 1.46.1 (user setup)
Date: 2020-06-17T21:13:20.174Z
Electron: 7.3.1
Chrome: 78.0.3904.130
Node.js: 12.8.1
V8: 7.8.279.23-electron.0
OS: Windows_NT x64 10.0.19042

Installed 32 bit Node.js, Pymakr 1.1.6, restarted everything and still not showing up. None of the commands work either (e.g. command 'pymakr.connect' not found).

Found out why it wasn't working. While using the git respository to clone the project, pymakr extension doesn't load the terminal.
