WiPy 1.0 SD reading problem shifting from v1.8.6 to v1.8.7

With the v 1.8.7 ( the 2 February versions) from REPL I have :
os.listdir('/sd')
OSError: 19
While with the previous v1.8.6 I have the list of SD content.
I have consequently reinstalled the mp v1.8.6
to be able to read the SD card .

As far as I know, the MicryPython versions you refer to are supported by micropython.org, not pycom.io. You might better ask at their forum http://forum.micropython.org/ or raise an issue at their github repository https://github.com/micropython/micropython. As user, I'm using the MicroPython.org builds too, since there is very little support for WiPy 1 by pycom.io, and at least some by micropython.org. And there is in general not too much interest in that module any more.
