Newbie need help setting up

Hello,
I am using ExpansionBoard v3.1 and lopy4.
I have updated the firmware of the board.
Note: I did not update lopy4 firmware. (did not see the instructions to do this - but I might've missed it).
I am using visual studio code on linux. Pymakr ext is installed.

So I connected the board to my linux via usb.
I am getting the following error.
Looks like it couldn't connect for some reason.
It did find the port though.

Turned out I do need to update the firmware of lopy4.
It's now connecting and I can see the repl.
