BLE communication with Android

Hi all, I'm working on this project that requires a LoPy4 to exchange data to an Android device via Bluetooth. I'm using BLE Scanner on Android to connect to the LoPy4, but I'm facing many obstacles while setting it up for BLE communication.
I tried following the tutorials on these pages but they haven't been of much help. I recently tried this code, but an error was raised (OSError: Erorr while sending BLE indication/notification).
Is there any other easy way or sample to set up communication via BLE?
The firmware on my LoPy4 was updated recently (1.20.2.r0).

Did you found a solution or coded something already?
Having seen and been teased (https://youtu.be/DInzisjAyh4) with mesh messenger demo, what is also available on github (https://github.com/pycom/pycom-libraries/tree/master/pymesh/mobile_app) hoping to get the LoPy/FiPy side of code example as well, to at least play around with the mesh demo app and test ranges in different environments while PyGo's are coming (month by now and counting).
