Project vs Package?

I'm very new to using Pymakr and am currently using it with the WiPy 2.0. I'm trying to understand the organization of Pymakr and am wondering what the difference is between a project and a package? What is the functionality of each one? Any info would be very helpful! Thanks!

Project is in a folder and it is containing the init file.
So a project is a package.
