Pytrack 2.0 - antenna selection
-
Hello,
I have a PyTrack 2.0. I've searched but I can't find any documentation to say whether the GNSS antenna port has a voltage on it for an active antenna (and therefore whether or not it's safe to connect a passive antenna). Can anyone tell me?
Many thanks

development.pycom.io is outdated for now and we are looking into new ways of keeping both up to date. For now, all relevant information will be on docs.pycom.io

Thank you. I guess this is as good a place as any for it. Might be useful if you declared the voltage available for active antennas at the SMA port. On the whole, I get a bit confused as to why you have docs.pycom.io and development.pycom.io. They look so similar, do you need both?? Thanks again.

There is an internal switch on the SMA connector selecting between the external or internal antenna. If the external antenna is connected, it will automatically route to that. Let me know where you were looking for the information and I can add it there!
(Btw, we have it listed on this page, but probably not as clear as it should be: https://docs.pycom.io/datasheets/expansionboards/pytrack2/)
