LOPY4 Nano-Gateway connect third party LoRa node

I am trying to connect a Dragino LHT65 sensor to the TTN through the LOPY4 nano gateway. Seems like the nano gate way is not picking up anything from this node. Has anybody tried to use a non-Pycom node to connect to the TTN using the LOPY4 nano gateway?

The single channel instructions are on page 36

LoPy4 nanogateway is a single channel one.

So all the LoRaWan nodes need to have the same channel configuration to communicate with it.
