I have some devices that need LTE and others that do not but I want to use the same code base and just have a flag that turns off the LTE portion of the code. Can I still have LTE based code inside the WiPy (imports mostly) but not actually call these functions? (which would clearly not work)

I would have thought that would be ok. I run the same code on my devices that have an Expansion Board and the one that has a PyTrack. If the code finds a PyTrack board, then the unit will use it, otherwise it will adopt another role.
