Hello everyone, i'm trying to read data from a MAX6675 SPI Thermocouple adapter. Connecting the MAX6675 pins to the LoPY (SCK->PIN10,SO->P12,CS not connected) i always read a value of 0. I've tried to change the various parameters (phase, baudrate, polarity) but i've not obtained any significant result. Any one can give me some address? Thanks!

It is hard to determine the quality of thermocouples purchased via Ebay/Amazon. It may be a great sensor, however if you need something of quality and accuracy – or even just general information, just go to [www.pyrosales.com.au](link url) CEO John S

@alessio_ultrafab said in LoPy and MAX6675 SPI Thermocouple: it's the one provided with the standard MAX6675 kit found on eBay/Amazon. Thank you, i asked because sometimes i see some interested real word case
and someone use some sensor because it is better then other in some conditions and he/she can say why

Hello @livius, it's the one provided with the standard MAX6675 kit found on eBay/Amazon. It's declared as a Type K, but i'm not 100% sure. Anyway the measurement is quite accurate, at least for the range i use it (about 10°-40°).

Thank you @robert-hh I set the Pin 8 low and connect the CS, then the read is correct now. Thanks,

@alessio_ultrafab At least you have to pull CS low to activate the device.
