LiPo battery connector?

Re: LiPo Battery Recommendation?
Following the recommendation from the above linked post I got a 3.7V LiPo battery with JST connector
However the connector doesn't fit unless I remove the white plastic housing on the expansion board and then it doesn't hold very well.
What is the official name of the battery connector on the expansion board so I can replace the connector on the battery I bought and order batteries with proper connector next time?

I just received a 2000mah and a 3000mah from Pimoroni in the UK. Great quality and not from China so they were here in 2 days.

@gertjanvanhethof said in LiPo battery connector?:
Can you please share the details of this matching cable?
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9914 I had it in my big box of cables.
Can you also share which LiPo you bought?
See the link in my original post at the top
And finally, which LiPo charger are you using
Expansion board that came with the LoPy.

I have brought one from SODAQ now.

Sorry it's Dutch :-)

@rskoniec Thxs! This is helping me further on this. Why does Pycom not give details about this? Or delivering one?
-
@gertjanvanhethof Maybe my info would be also helpful.
-
Charger - I'm using built-in on Expansion Board
Links to the store are in polish language (sorry, no english version), but maybe photos and numbers would be useful. ;o)

Thanks everyone for your comments. I found a matching cable from Sparkfun in in one of my many cable boxes and soldered it it the battery so I'm set for now. When I need additional batteries I'll be more careful to make sure I get the right connectors.

@abilio As this is the part number of the connector that you are using on the extension board I guess you would need somethng like XHP-2 housing for crimp contact and a 22AWG crimp contact if you want to replace any non-matching connector? However it is a lot easier to get a LiPo with the right connector off course.
Currently the Pycom site mentions JST-style connector at several places. I guess it would be better to refer to the specific type of connector as is mentioned at this topic to prevent confusion. As JST is just the name of a company (Japan Solderless Terminals) that produces a lot of different connector types. The JST type connectors that are often used on RC products typically differ from the connectors as often used on PCB products.

Hi @Xykon, here is a link to the connector on the board: http://www.jst-mfg.com/product/pdf/eng/eXH.pdf. The part number would be S2B-XH-A-1.
Hope this helps

@gertjanvanhethof Thanks a lot... it looks like I got a battery with JST RCY 2P connector while I should have gotten a JST SH 2P connector.
