I just stumbled over a unexpected behavior of the FiPy. I wanted to use NbIoT. Different to before, attach failed. SInce I had removed the device from the board before, I removed it again to check the antenna plug. I noticed that the SIM had moved partially out of the socket. Pushing it back in place made FiPy attach again.
I wonder why a non-working SIM (or a no-SIM) is not reported as an error.

@robert-hh OK. A script can call lte.iccid() before lte.attach() to verify the presence of an ICC.
