pycom with pysense problem

I just started working with pycom(fipy) trying to test pysense board. when test the pysense demo code I get an error (ValueError: Firmware out of date). I am using linux os. I tried using pycom firmware upgrade (pycom-fwtool). At the step where is should get board info it give an error (Failed to connect to ESP32:INvalid head of packet (/x08))

@AM The "ValueError: Firmware out of date" message comes from the Pysense firmware being too old, not the FiPy's.
