Compatible peripherals

Is there a document somewhere online that explains what peripherals are compatible with the FiPy? For example, if I want to connect a camera, or various sensors for motion, temperature, sound... how do I learn about the connectors on the FiPy or the Expansion Board? I have no experience with IoT devices of any kind (though I have a PhD in computer science), and I've ordered a FiPy so... I really need a very basic newbie tutorial. Thanks for any suggestions!
