Pygate with WiPy restart every 20 minutes

Dear community,

I just bought myself a Pygate and WiPy to create a low-cost LoRaWAN TTN Gateway. I succeeded in registering the gateway in The Things Stack and uploaded my just slightly modified code to the WiPy.

However, I discovered that my Pygate restarts every 20 minutes and I can't find the cause of these constant power cycles. It's attached to the USB port of my internet router, but the same behavior occurs when attached to a dedicated power adapter.

Is this intended? Why did my gateway not restart between 3:04 am and 8:16 am?

Have you any tips how I can debug this? There is no message or dump on the REPL, it simply starts over again.

I just figured out that there exists the function machine.rest_cause(), which returns machine.WDT_RESET. Does that mean that the watchdog timer isn't fed correctly somewhere in the Pygate firmware? Do I have to do this on my own?
