fipy not working with 2.0 X boards

  • My fipy runs without any problems on the Expansion board and on the Pyscan board. However, I can NOT get it running on Pysense 2.0 X and Pytrack 2.0 X boards. No heartbeat LED, no serial connection possible. Any idea what is wrong here?

  • Thanks for your request. Orientation definitely is correct. Device is connected through USB, however also with battery there is no LED heart beat.
lsusb shows the device as follows:
Bus 004 Device 103: ID 04d8:f012 Microchip Technology, Inc. Pysense
    dmesg yields:
    [43506.884788] usb 4-2: new full-speed USB device number 103 using xhci_hcd
    [43507.066441] usb 4-2: New USB device found, idVendor=04d8, idProduct=f012, bcdDevice= 0.10

  • @Thomas-Barkowsky Did you double check the orientation is correct? Also how are you powering the combo? Are the Pysense/Pytrack visible as USB devices and/or serial ports even without the module?
