I bought 2 wipy 1.0 some weeks ago. Now i see there is a firmware updater only for v2.0 and lopy. Thx pycom for making obsolete this product. Direct to trash, i will work with pyboards that seem to be better maintained.

don't contain firmware release 1.3.0 (needed for PyMakr compatibility), just the 1.2.0 release.
AFAIK, MicroPython v1.8.2 from :
https://github.com/wipy/wipy/releases
firmware release 1.3.0.I don't know if the Pycom team is aware about this issue.

The reason for the flurry of updates for WiPy 2.0 (ESP32 based) is that it's unfinished; the WiPy 1.0 (CC3200 based) firmware is comparatively stable and complete. Even the firmware updater for the ESP32 boards is in flux. Were you having an issue with the WiPy 1.0?
